It was Christmas Eve. My parents and I were at a friend’s house, hav ing dinner. When we finished eating, Anna, a friend of my mother’s, invited us to play hide and seek. Everybody liked the idea and the game start ed. Emma counted and everyone else rushed to hide in different places around the house. I hid in the garden, together with a girl that didn’t look familiar to me. She said her name was Natasha. Emma found everyone apart from Natasha. When I mentioned her name, Anna looked puzzled. “Natasha was a girl that lived in this house 100 years ago!” she said. I was really shocked!
Это был канун Рождества. Мои родители и я были в доме у друзей, мы ужинали. Когда мы закончили с едой, Анна — подруга моей мамы, пригласила нас поиграть в прятки. Всем понравилась идея, и игра началась. Эмма начала считать и все разбежались, чтобы спрятаться в разных местах дома. Я спрятался в саду, вместе с девочкой, которая была мне незнакома. Она сказала, что ее зовут Наташа. Эмма нашла всех, кроме Наташи. Когда я упомянул ее имя, Анна была очень удивлена. «Наташа жила в этом доме 100 лет назад!» — сказала она. Я был шокирован!
