Every year millions of tourists come to Moscow to see the Kremlin. Everybody recognizes the Kremlin. It’s the most important landmark in Russia. The main clock tower of the Kremlin is called Spasskaya Tower. It is the symbol of the Kremlin. The Tower is 71 metres high (with the star on the top). The clock on the tower called the Kremlin Chimes is huge. It is 600 years old. The clock mechanism weighs about 25 tons. Each of the four clockfaces is over six metres in diameter. The hour hands are about three metres long and the minute hands are 3 metres 27 centimeters long. There are fourteen bells of the chimes that sound two melodies. Perhaps one day you can go to Moscow and see this amazing tourist attraction.
