Dear Pete,
It’s always good to hear from you. I see you’re as glad as I am to be finishing school. It’s been a tough year but it’s all over now!
You can imagine how I felt as the school bell rang on the last day. That night we all went out and celebrated. I’ll miss some of my friends but now I’ve got the time to do some of the things I always wanted to do.
Next year, I’m going to university. I am studying Italian so my holiday is hopefully going to be in Rome. I can’t wait to walk those historic streets and speak to the locals.
How was your brother’s graduation? Your parents must be so proud. What did he graduate from? What are his plans now?
