In Russia World War II Invalids get retirement pension and invalidity pension, while in Germany there are no special privileges, only ordinary invalidity pension. What is more, in Germany there is no increment to a pension and petirement is possible at the age of 60.
Besides, war veterans in Russia have 50% reduction of payment for housing, telephone and public utilities, also, free medical care, wheelchairs, OKA cars, petrol at a discount and free accommodation in a health resort , whereas in Germany they have medical service at a reduced price, mobility allowance, tourist’s pass at a reduced price and, unfortunately, there are no health resorts in Germany.
One more thing is that disabled war veterans in Russia get free return passage by sea, by air or by railroad once a year, in Germany there are air, railroad and other kinds of tickets at a reduced price (tickets for those looking after people with disabilities are free of charge). Moreover, in Germany people with disabilities living below the poverty level can get free of charge nursing and assistance in entertainmnet organisations, while in Russia they can get free of charge assistance about the house for a certain group of people with disabilities and, furthemore, housing, telephone without going on a waiting list (in Germany there are no privileges of this kind).
В России ветераны войны получают пенсию по отставке и пенсию по инвалидности, когда в Германии нет никаких особых привилегий, только обычные пенсии по инвалидности. Более того, в Германии нет прибавок к пенсии и выход на пенсию возможен в возрасте 60 лет.
Кроме того, у ветеранов войны в России на 50% сокращена оплата за квартиру, телефон и коммунальные услуги, также, есть бесплатное медицинское обслуживание, инвалидные коляски, машины ОКА, бензин со скидкой и бесплатное проживание на оздоровительных курортах, тогда как в Германии у них есть медицинское обслуживание по сниженной цене, выплаты на передвижение, туристический проезд по сниженной цене, и, к несчастью, в Германии нет оздоровительных курортов.
Еще одна вещь в том, что ветераны инвалиды войны в России получают бесплатный проезд туда-обратно морем, самолетом или железной дорогой раз в году, в Германии есть билеты на самолет, поезд и другие виды транспорта по сниженной цене (билеты для тех, кто присматривает за инвалидами, бесплатно). Более того, в Германии инвалиды, живущие ниже прожиточного минимума, могут получить бесплатных сиделок и помощь в развлекательных организациях, тогда как в России они могут получить бесплатную помощь в вопросах жилья для определенных групп людей с ограниченными возможностями и, более того, квартплату, телефон без ожидания в очередях (в Германии нет таких привилегий).
